Yeah, I'm an anti-fan of trolley problems because they do an absolutely terrible job of isolating variables.
Just one example: a fat man wouldn't really stop a much larger vehicle. When gathering data on intuitive answers, a murderous course of action _that wouldn't even work_ is bound to affect intuitions.
