The Trolley Odyssey of Homer

I'm not a big fan of trolley problems but this is a fun introduction to them, with some fascinating twists and cameos by the Simpsons.

  1. Yeah, I'm an anti-fan of trolley problems because they do an absolutely terrible job of isolating variables.

Just one example: a fat man wouldn't really stop a much larger vehicle. When gathering data on intuitive answers, a murderous course of action _that wouldn't even work_ is bound to affect intuitions.
